INTRODUCTION
The BS in Operation Theatre Technology (BSOTT) program aims to develop skilled professionals capable of supporting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams in surgical settings. Graduates are trained in patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia, and operation theatre management, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. The program offers broad career opportunities in hospitals, clinics, research, medical sales, and education, preparing students for roles such as surgical technologists, anesthesia technicians, and healthcare educators. Practical training ensures graduates remain updated with evolving surgical technologies, making them valuable contributors to the healthcare industry.

- FSc. (Pre-medical) with minimum 50% marks.

The ultimate goal of the proposed plan will be to produce medical professionals outfitted with highest standards in creativity, transfer and application of knowledge dissemination to address issues of our time.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The aim of Bachelors of Science in Operation Theatre Technology (BSOTT) program is to produces graduates capable to do management of Operation Theater. This degree program will cover safe handling, sterilization, supply of instruments, equipment management, Operation theatre management, implementation of Standard operating protocols in operation theatre. This program produces the graduates having research knowledge and skills related to operation theatre and Central Sterile Supply department. On the basis of knowledge and skills they will be able to do the evidence based practice.
